Functional Responsibilities
The qualified candidate will provide Engineering and Technical support to the System Engineering Task and will join with an integrated team of engineers, technologists and military veterans dedicated to providing independent quality assessments of developmental computer programs critical to the defense of the United States and Foreign Military Sales.

Description of Duties
Support AEGIS Command Decision and System (C&D) Product level in various technical aspects involving the integration of the AEGIS Weapon System with Ballistic Missile Defense functionality in an AEGIS Combat System environment to include:

  • Review of technical specifications and related documents to ensure technical accuracy and applicability; participate, witness, and assessment of tests conducted by the program developer our Engineering Support Services Test & Evaluation team and / or other Government agencies often working alongside the AEGIS TECHREP customer

  • Support test development, implementation and execution in Combat Computer System Test Environments

  • Conduct specification requirement reviews and perform test data analysis; analyze and document observed test anomalies and deficiencies; track problem resolutions; and support meetings and report out criteria

  • This is not a telework position

  • You must hold a valid driver’s license

  • You must own a reliable motor vehicle

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering in any of the recognized Engineering disciplines, plus at least four years of experience

  • Experience with the US Navy AEGIS Combat System

  • Active duty US Navy AEGIS Weapon System experience may substitute for degree

Other required skills/experience:

  • Your resume/cv accepted by our customer

  • Proficient in MS Office Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and Power Point

  • Strong attention to detail with organizational and problem solving skills

  • Ability to interface constructively with US Government and Industry teammates

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Flexible to support short notice testing and / or tasking

  • Available to support second and third shift when required

  • Ability to work independently and pro-actively in providing high quality services

 Required Skills and Certifications:

  • DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance within 90 days of signing the contingent hire offer letter

  • As a condition of continued employment, you must maintain an active security clearance
