Description of Duties
This position on is located in Washington, D.C. Duties include and not limited to the following:
Communication and Briefing Skills
Experience related to the identification, analysis and resolution of complex systems engineering issues involving Navy weapon and combat systems
Experience composing technical documents including training materials, installation guides, configuration management concepts, proposals and reports in accordance with technical documentation guidelines and standards
Expertise in strategic planning, coordination, logistics and vast familiarity with senior and flag level support, including new program initiatives
Knowledgeable on DoD/DON Policies and Procedures relating to systems engineering process, software development and software management, verification and validation, test and evaluation and Navy combat systems
Knowledgeable with combat system software and hardware Development Lead and Management.

This Position is contingent upon contract award

You must own a reliable motor vehicle
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and Fifteen (15) years of relevant engineering experience, OR
Master’s Degree in a relevant field and Ten (10) years of relevant engineering experience
Extensive knowledge of System Level requirements development
Understanding of the structure and organization of the Sponsor
Ability to maintain project schedules, calendars, and tasks in workflow tool suites
Ability to coordinate work schedules to accommodate customer needs
Ability to individually produce and speak to technical reports
Ability to lead and direct a technical team

Intimate knowledge of Microsoft Tool suite
Strong attention to detail with organizational and problem solving skills
Ability to interface constructively with US Government and Industry teammates
Self-starter drive and ability to translate, write and speak to technical issues
Ability to take direction from several sources and execute seamlessly in a timely fashion
Ability to multi-task
Required Skills and Certifications:
DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance within 90 days of signing the contingent hire offer letter
As a condition of continued employment, you must maintain an active security clearance
